Is a class album this - always been a fan of Braintax although i do normally choose others over him, the likes of Jehst, PLC, taskforce, lewis parker etc etc.
Thing about Braintax is i probably respect this guy musically and personally than any other rapper in the UK right now.
Saw this album in HMV and snapped it up.
This is a personal work from him, states in the album cover that this album is not dedicated to anyone in particular, it was just something he had to get of his chest... and he has done that.
It is his best album so far i think - i got Birofunk many years ago and it was great, Panorama was good but not as good i think, and this new one is great.
Expect his usual flame at politicians, way of life in the Uk and the West in general but with added heart - not that his earlier work doesnt have heart, just this seems to be even deeper if that is possible.
I rate Braintax and Life from PLC as the most conscience rappers in the UK today - of course others are also, infact i think that is what the UK is all about - but Braintax and Life are in another league, a higher platform of conscienceness.
I throughly enjoyed this album and it will be gettin a lot of play in the coming weeks/months.
Dont really want to list tracks as everyone is top notch and there is not a single skipper amongst them.
Any fans of Braintax or the UK hiphop scene in general should buy this just out of respect - this is a guy who loves his art, and it really shows.
5/5 for sure.
