ZoomText 是一个使用上很简单的软体，并且让其它的扩视系统成为过去。ZoomText 能在监视器上放大您的文书处理系统，试算表，资料库和其他许多软体。ZoomText 最大的特徵是拥有简单的视窗选单能让您立即去使用，而且不论您的程式是在文字模式、图形模式或是 Windows 下， ZoomText 皆能执行。

在 Windows 上从单行到全萤幕可做任意放大，强大的放大功能让您轻鬆设定到最舒适的状态。在全萤幕放大部分，最高能够放大至 16 倍。单行放大部分，只能在您游标所指之行，最高放大倍率是 8 倍。至於其他放大选项，是让您放大 Windows，它可以固定或任意放大倍率去使用，就如同使用放大镜一样。三种全形字型，让您在萤幕上看到高品质且无锯齿状的英文字，有三种字型让您选择 (PC style、Helvetica、Courier)。革命性的新技术“xFont”能够全倍放大并展示清晰文字。

如同许多放大系统一样，想要在全萤幕放大时，要移动放大部分，是非常困难的。但是在 ZoomText 里，我们提供了非常简单的解决方式。在您所选择的放大倍率视窗里，当移动系统游标、滑鼠或选单时，它会自动地在同一个地方放大所指位置的资料。若是按下捲动视窗箭头时，它会在指定的放大倍率视窗里，放大所有的文字。

ZoomText 能在所有的视窗环境下操作，利用滑鼠、键盘输入或选单选择设定水平及垂直的放大倍率 1 至 16 倍，就能轻易控制全部的放大倍率。
