Team HAZE greets The Scene with the new year and wishes
quality releases for everyone.
Too bad the place called The Scene once marked by
quality is becoming the place of lameness. Groups openly
stealing and the whole scene just holding thumbs in their
asses and ignoring that. The coming of -WEB was a total
insult for us. The Scene is for SCENERS, for those in -WEB
- crack things yourself or be gone! Real groups are working
hard to make nice releases while some jerks just download
something from web and repack it? No control for quality, 0
amount of their own work. We are very thankful to our
siteops who banned repacked webwarez on our sites and we
hope that more sites will follow and that such insults will
not happen again.
Sad but lately new groups are appearing just to
get nuked or to spam our sites. Scene needs to change,
we need new rules, because the old ones do not maintain
our Scene quality. Nobody needs a new version of
Shit.To.Crap.Converter.v54648.9454 every two weeks, but
some groups are relying only on that. Do we really need the
same keygens to be released dozens of times? What's the
point of that? Groups are turning a few keygens into a
countless numbers of spam releases. We are sick of that, we
are sick of The Scene ignoring that, we're sick of new and
old sceners doing that. The Scene belongs to SCENERS, it
is OUR playground and it is up to US to define the rules
that would make it a nice place to play. It's quality of
releases that represents group's power, not the number of
them. EMBRACE is already using 1 month MU period on their
releases, so do we and we expect more groups to accept this.
Since the rebirth of HAZE we have made the blacklist of
spam apps that we are not going to crack. In the upcoming
year we are going to try to make this list global by
releasing universal keygens for all of them. The Scene is
OURS and we are going to stand up and fight to make it a
better place to be.
We need to become less tolerant or else soon we can
get to the p2p level with no guaranteed quality, with crap
all around us, with skilled and devoted people no longer
interested in being the part of the scene. The 0day scene
needs to update it's rules and we appreciate all the groups
that are going to fight to get that done.
